I signed up for their weekly meal plan, and every day, I get a different, freshly made dish that feels just like home cooked food sometimes I also cancel the meal one day before and the counting of meal is based on number of meals and not monthly subscription. The quality is always consistent, and the taste reminds me of homemade meals. Highly recommended!

I thought I was the only one with a bad review but I can see a lot of other people here with similar issues. Looks like they have a lot of paid reviews. I took a 3 day trial since they don't have a single day trial. I've attached a photo of my non-veg "deluxe" thali. I never thought someone can screw up a trial meal but these guys managed to do that. I cancelled the remaining 2 days and asked for a refund for the 2 days but they refused and after I threatened to go to consumer court they sent the money to my mealawe wallet!!! Basically forcing me to order from them even if I don't want to. How can a company tell me what I should do with my money? Now that's what I call a scam!

Despite repeatedly requesting specific dietary preferences—less spicy, less salty, and less oily—absolutely nothing has changed for the past two weeks! I’ve been following up constantly, yet no one seems to care or take action. Initially, after relentless follow-ups, I received decent food for the first month, which gave me hope. That’s why I renewed for a second month, expecting the same quality. Big mistake! The service completely deteriorated, and I started receiving terrible, inedible food. The representatives are incredibly lazy and unresponsive—they make empty promises but never resolve anything. If you’re considering subscribing, don’t fall for their marketing gimmicks! Their claims are misleading, and once they have your money, they stop caring about customer satisfaction. I feel cheated and frustrated, and I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. Save your money and look elsewhere!
Ive been having food from Mealawe since lst 3 mnths, and the food is really good for daily home food. home cooked food made with love like another mom’s kitchn. If you’re after simple, tasty, and comforting meals every day, Mealawe is a great choice. But if you want somthng spicy or hotel style, this isn’t it. It’s all about real, homemade taste.
