I received wonderful, gentle, educational care here. All the midwives and front desk workers knew me, remembered my information, and kept a close eye on any concerns. I felt genuinely seen and cared for. My children were welcome at my appointments and never made to feel like a nuisance. They left me in charge of elective testing but made absolutely sure I understood the choices available. I have trauma from my previous 2 horrible births, and my midwife and assistant team loved on me and gave me support to be brave and face this birth with hope instead of despair. Real, genuine advice and support and not just platitudes. I was monitored intermittently but allowed to labor alone with my husband quietly until I was fully dilated, then had a whole party appear to assemble the birth pool just in time for delivery. Micha quietly made sure I was comfortable with the observers before baby made her entrance. It was so redemptive to be cared for with so much competence and empathy. I felt confident in my providers so I was able to focus on labor and feel confident in myself. My husband caught my daughter and midwives and my husband moved me to a bed to deliver the placenta. My care after birth was also great, I was checked on until it was safe to leave. I also had 3 postpartum visits in my home, and my blood pressure was slightly elevated and I was terrified of postpartum preeclampsia. Pam came to visit herself and recommended me some supplements to help control my blood pressure, which have been working for me to this day to control my prehypertensive migraines. As someone who has had 2 home births with incompetent, careless midwives (one from a different birth center), this was such an amazing experience for me. I highly recommend New Phase at The Birth Nest to any moms who want educated control AND safety for their pregnancy and birth. I'm forever grateful to them.

I wish I found them earlier in my pregnancy! I've been switching doctors couple times throughout my pregnancy because I feel like I don't resonates with the way they handle things. Most of doctors nowadays treated pregnancy as if it's a disease, I just don't feel comfortable going to hospital. They make me nervous. Like, there's something wrong with me and they just gonna tell you to take a bunch of test without even bother to explain or educate you of why is it essential, all they gonna tell you is that you gonna need this and that, that's all. I always believe that pregnancy and giving birth are a natural process. And I believe that my body was designed for that journey. So I started looking for an alternative to have a birth experience the way I desired and to avoid having unnecessary medical interventions if possible. I found birth nest to be the ideal place, and I was right. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I finally found Pam, Zabrina and their team. I like the way they educate me and my husband, they took time to explain a lot of topics and to get to know us, they gave us options and laid out reasons and consequences regarding what is necessary and let us decide on our own whether or not we agree with certain procedures or tests. Pam and Zabrina take a good care of me during my last trimester, and I had Zabrina helped me with my delivery. I was worried at first because my baby was measuring big, and during labor I was stuck between 7 to 8 cm dilation. After about 6 hours, my labor didn't show any progress and Zabrina decided that I had to move to the bed, because apparently the water didn't help that much. As soon as I moved to the bed and changing position couple times my water finally broke, and within an hour I started having the urge to push. Baby was stuck in the birth canal but thank God for Zabrina, she was quick and got my baby out within seconds without any injuries. I am so grateful for these people, they know what they're doing and they do it passionately. They only wanted the best for you and your baby, and I knew I was in the right hand. I would also thank Jada and Anastasia for their help and care during labor. Jada is my favorite, she's very sweet and attentive to my needs after the delivery. Their team is a top notch 💯 I would recommend this place for anybody who wants a more personal experience, and not feeling restricted by all formalities.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care I received from Marianna, Micha, Roxanne and everyone else at New Phase. This transformative birth experience has genuinely changed my life. I could cry with joy writing this review, because that’s how impactful these ladies were to me and my birth center experience. From the thoughtful hour-long (or more) appointments leading up to the birth, to the unwavering support every step of the way. Their compassion, love, knowledge and wisdom made me feel so heard and safe. I would recommend them 100x over!! If you're considering a homebirth or a birth center, I wholeheartedly recommend The Births Nest—here, you will be heard, loved, and cared for like nowhere else. Thank you, ladies, for this invaluable journey; I will forever cherish the moments we shared!

I loved my experience with this birth center! I worked closely with Pam and Micha. My pregnancy didn’t go quite the way we would’ve hoped but they helped me feel educated, supported and got me connected to other birth workers that really helped us. I felt so cared for and knew my daughter was in good hands. I would definitely recommend them!
