I am Priyanka gyni, mother to a 3 year old son. My son was exposed to screen from a very early stage, and it has severely hindered his natural growth. He is on spectrum and we are giving him therapies. I joined the shadow teacher course to understand this problem in detailed way. The team of communiverse is really good and they try to solve the root of the problem, and not supress the problem temporarily. During this course i learnt about parallel talk, modeling, giving physical support to the child, writing and maintaining records, different types of sensory issues and how stimming should not be stopped forcefully. These are some of my learnings and i will implement these techniques with my child. Dear team, The transformation in me after completing the program was significant. I had sympathy and empathy on Autistic children as always wanted to contribute in some or the other way. As you know, without proper education on it, what so ever we do it is more of reductionism and travelling towards holism is possible with such short courses.
