I recently visited Sushrut Hospital & Research Centre In Chembur | Mumbai and had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely professional, attentive, and compassionate. The facilities were clean and well-organized, which made me feel safe and comfortable. My doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently. The nurses and support staff were equally caring and efficient. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone looking for quality healthcare services.
Dear Shushrut Hospital Management, I am writing to express my strong disappointment with the behavior and management at your hospital, especially by the security staff. Firstly, during the official visiting hours (6 PM to 7 PM), your security personnel refused to allow visitors inside, citing a two-person limit. Even though the visiting window is one hour, they were extremely rude and insisted on their own interpretation of the rules. In fact, after denying us, they allowed three other visitors inside after the visiting hours, which I personally witnessed. The rules seem to change depending on the individual, which is highly unprofessional and unfair. Secondly, we were informed by the doctor that one relative must be outside the female ward 24×7. Even though my patient (my mother) is now stable, a doctor called us at home at 10:00 PM just to come to the hospital to collect medicine from the in-house pharmacy. This caused unnecessary hardship, especially since my father had to travel late at night to comply with this request. My mother is already sick, and we admitted her to your hospital expecting better support, not additional stress. Additionally, your security staff also refused to allow items like coconuts inside the hospital, claiming it is "management rule." However, no such guidelines are displayed anywhere in the hospital premises. If there are specific rules regarding visitor policies, compulsory attendants, or restricted items, they must be clearly displayed in bold at the hospital entrance and near the wards to avoid confusion and inconvenience. The arrogant and insensitive behavior of your security team has made an already difficult time even worse for us. I sincerely request you to look into this matter seriously and take corrective actions to ensure a more transparent, fair, and supportive environment for patients and their families. The staff of Sushrut Hospital are very efficient and handled every job with full responsibility. Dr. Srinivas is brilliant. He explained the cause of my ailments very thoroughly and provided a simple treatment plan. I feel confident about getting better. The support staff is awesome. They run the doctor's office like a well oiled machine. They were available at 8:30am to provide appointment at short notice.
