I recently visited Medi Assist in Marol, Andheri East to submit documents for my brother. The location is accurate on the map. The office ambiance is average, and while the staff is helpful, there’s no designated parking. You’ll need to park outside the office at your own risk.
MediAssist deserves a negative star. Unfortunately, Google doesn’t provide that option. I think their backend team consists of lack of experience people handling claim processing and updating the details in system. Without reading the documents, they updated the member names incorrectly on their portal, even though I had attached the correct documents in an email and updated the same in the office portal, from where they could have retrieved the records. I have been in touch with Nitin and Sibani for the past 30 days regarding a claim, but they have been the worst—lacking knowledge and providing no resolution. I would not recommend anyone to use their services, but unfortunately, I have no choice since they are tied up with my corporate company. I have already informed my HR that I will not continue with MediAssist and am waiting for their response.
I am running from pillar to post from last 6 month they they pay no heed inspite of all documents sent duly as they asked for,they say call and enquire a middle class retired senior citizen struggling between life and death.still we don't get any satisfactory answers .Unless their loved one face the financial crisis.Shame on you people.My sister who's under Critical kidney disease.with no financial backing.says leave my treatment.and begs for her death ,so that money is saved.I would appreciate if higher authority Nazia Mam and other people look into this matter and get her the reimbursement.
Hello, My wife and my family condition is not good. I am tired of begging for my insurance claim. Claim was for 137004 and you are giving me 90000. It's been more then 45 days I am running behind you people for my Claim. Now you people are telling me to Courier the Documents when I have already send you all the documents. Again you people will take 15 to 30 days. Is this a scam you people are doing? When you are not going to issue the Claim for the total amount so why do I have to send the courier. If this claim is not settle within next 24 then you will be responsible for my death When you are giving me claim of 90k not more then that so why are you people wasting my time. I stay in Mumbai and you people want me to courier some where in Banglore without the address. This is my final Warning after that we will settle the claim on my funeral.
Despite facing multiple disappointing experiences with Medi Assist in the past, I refrained from writing a review, hoping things would improve. However, this time I feel compelled to share my frustration. deeply disappointed with Medi Assist’s unempathetic approach and their exhausting reimbursement process. Despite choosing a reputed hospital with all necessary facilities, request for cashless treatment was denied without clear reasons. The reimbursement process is unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming, adding stress during critical times. For a company handling health insurance, I expected more empathy and efficiency. Highly disappointing experience.
