My wife delivered our baby through a C-section at Vital Nursing Home on 1st May under the care of Dr. Nazia Raja. About one month later, her surgical wound reopened, and we returned to the same hospital where Dr. Nazia advised weekly consultations and dressings for nearly six weeks until the wound healed. Shortly after that, my wife developed a painful lump or boil with fluid above the C-section scar. Despite multiple visits, Dr. Nazia kept saying there was “nothing to worry,” only gave medicines, and insisted the boil would open on its own. The lump kept appearing and disappearing, yet no proper diagnosis or investigation was done. At one point, Dr. Nazia Raja also suggested doing another surgery at Vital Nursing Home, but after so many issues and complications, we were scared and refused to undergo any further treatment there. We then consulted Dr. Parveen Rushnaiwala, who immediately advised us to see a surgeon. When we met Dr. Waqar Ansari, he informed us that this was the fifth or sixth similar case he had seen from the same nursing home, raising serious concerns about hygiene and sterilization practices at Vital Nursing Home. Under his supervision, my wife had to undergo another surgery on 8th November to remove the sinus caused by the infection. She is still in pain and needs daily dressing while also caring for our 6-month-old baby at her mother’s place. Due to this entire situation, our family has been separated—our 9-year-old daughter, who has school, is staying with me and her grandmother, and she too is suffering emotionally because her mother and baby brother cannot stay with us during this difficult time. Because of the negligence at Vital Nursing Home, my wife has endured months of pain, had to undergo another surgery, and we have spent nearly three times more than the original delivery cost. This situation has caused severe physical, emotional, and financial distress to our entire family. We request that strict action be taken against the nursing home, a proper investigation into their hygiene and postoperative care practices be conducted.

We had a very good & pleasant experience at Vital Nursing Home. The nurses are very professional and also very kind, attentive and always ready to help. The facility is very neat and clean and has a very positive vibe to it. Last but not the least a special mention for the Doctors who were also very kind, understanding and supportive towards the patient. We would like to highly recommend this nursing home to all.
