Very pleased with the teachings of Sir and Guru Raj Pillai sir , I enrolled my son for tabla classes this June it's been just 3 months and I must say he plays the tabla with the confidence of a 1 year old ..credit to Harmony music classes and specially to Raj sir for his professional work and love for music . He is an all-rounder . Also small batches help to focus on individuals which is a plus .
Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher, I've learned so much from you. Your understanding of raga and tala is truly impressive. I always wonder how you have masterd the technique of differentiating raagas with similar swaras or aaroha avaroha. You present the beauty of each raaga with it's perfect characteristics. For e.g. 1) puriya- marwa - sohni, 2) kamod - kedar-hameer, 3) asavari - darbari kanada 4) Bhoop - deshkar 5) des - tilak kamod & the list is never ending You have a gift for making even the most challenging aspects of music understandable. I really appreciate your patience and encouragement, especially when a student struggles with the intricate patterns of aalap and taan. My voice control has improved significantly since I started learning with you and feel more confident. Looking forward to every lesson to learn something new!
I have been learning guitar here since 7 to 8 months and I have learnt so many new things by Raj sir. The best thing is that he starts teaching all the instruments from basics in classical music and then progresses. He teaches whole heartedly to students. Thanks to Raj Pillay sir for because of him I have acquired knowledge about classical music that I didn't know before.
I am a student of Harmony Music class since 3 months. Earlier my son was a student of Harmony music class and took atraining for Vocal singing. Now he is performing in stage shows with celebrity singer like Ms.Priya chauhan. The owner and the Guru of Harmony Class is very much dedicated in training/teaching the students in various musical instruments. I found Harmony Music class the best place for fulfilling the passion for music for every age.
Started playing Tabla in this institute and felt very nice to learn an art in the form of Tabla. Here, I learnt various different Taals and also learnt more about classical music. Overall it was an excellent experience.
