They stood by us patiently, guided my wife to move around, and encouraged her every step of the way till the very end. The level of personal attention and care was something we could never expect in a regular hospital setup. Special thanks to Dr. Gowri and Dr. Asha for continuously monitoring every test and guiding us with timely and thoughtful recommendations. Their calm and reassuring presence gave us great confidence. The Lamaze classes helped us stay informed, aware, and ready to make decisions during labor. The positive motivation and open communication from everyone made the entire experience smooth and reassuring. The postnatal visits at home and at the center were equally comforting — they ensured we were never left without guidance or clarification. A heartfelt thanks to Bindu chechi, who took wonderful care of my wife and our baby’s overall well-being during this period. Birth Village is a vibrant innovation in the modern era. Visited there few weeks ago. Staff and doctor's were so friendly and super cool. Their patience, care and support is immensive. Birth Village is located in a rural area, but it is so quiet and calm makes it feel good environment from the roaring nature of urban area. Even though it is located in rural, easy to go there, sign boards are placed properly to guide you. Happy to know that they supported so many women to give natural delivery like water birth etc. I would like to suggest this place to my friends and family❤️
After experiencing a traumatic birth at a conventional hospital with my first son, my second birth at Birthvillage was everything I needed to truly heal. Instead of feeling helpless, stuck, or out of control, I felt cared for, guided, and supported every single moment. I was never left alone, and that presence made all the difference. I wanted to take my wife to a place where she would be respected, so based on my education and research, I felt Birthvillage was the place. I felt birthing here would be empowering for my wife, and it was. We had chances to interact with Priyanka mam, Annie (senior midwife), Asha (chief medical officer), Shiva (junior midwife), Manju sister (paediatric division), Jerry (receptionist), Bindu mam (postpartum midwife ), Rachel (birth photographer)and paediatrician. Apart from these, we also interacted with three other people whose names I don't remember. All these people were so good with us, and we felt safe and comfortable. The security guard also made us feel comfortable. My wife was very happy with her experience, and I was happy to have been a part of it. We also had childbirth education classes with Nikita, and infant care and breastfeeding classes – these were good as well. We had confusions at times during the pregnancy, and Priyanka mam helped us; I felt more comfortable. As I'm a birth worker myself (birth doula, prenatal yoga teacher, prenatal corrective exercise specialist, diastasis and core consultant, gentle birth childbirth educator, and fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, baby, PCOS nutrition consultant), I chose Birthvillage to ensure my wife gets what she deserves. Overall, I had a very good experience, and I suggested Birthvillage to one of my clients who also had a great experience there. I'll definitely recommend Birthvillage. I wasn't staying in Kochi, so one and a half months' rent was an extra expense for me, but considering the experience we had, it was worth it. I care for my wife like a child, and she received the same care at Birthvillage.
One of the best decisions we made in our lives was choosing Birthvillage for our birth. It was truly an experience to cherish for a lifetime—from moving to different cities, meeting the warmest people in service at Birthvillage, to experiencing the support and love they share with everyone who chooses BV. BV felt like a home away from home. I delivered my baby girl at 41 weeks and 2 days via C-section. It was a choice my husband and I made to deliver our baby safely due to my water breaking with meconium and slow labor. I will never regret having a C-section at BV; the warmth and love I received here are unmatched. I would highly recommend BV to anyone seeking a wholesome birthing experience—a peaceful, positive birth without any trauma. I am forever grateful to the entire BV team, all the nurses, and everyone who serves this divine experience of birthing. Bindu Chechi makes postpartum so easy and fun that you will never have to worry. I love her joyful and cheerful nature.
