After a strong recommendation from a close family friend, I contacted Dr. Ravi Shinde’s clinic from Australia four months in advance to book an appointment for my mother and wife. Unfortunately, the entire process was frustrating and disorganised from the beginning. Communication was extremely poor — replies were minimal and mostly limited to one-word responses via WhatsApp. Trusting their confirmation, I arranged and paid for international travel from Melbourne to Mumbai specifically for the treatments. I even reconfirmed the appointment a day before our visit and once again received a short “OK” as a response. However, when we arrived at the clinic on the scheduled day, we were told there was no appointment under my wife’s or mother’s name. The reception staff showed no professionalism or courtesy in handling the situation. After some persistence, they finally acknowledged the booking from a mobile phone — which should’ve been checked initially. To make matters worse, several other patients were also experiencing similar issues, leading to tension at the reception. Instead of resolving the confusion or showing understanding, Dr. Ravi Shinde came out and threatened to cancel all appointments, displaying a complete lack of empathy and respect toward patients who had travelled and waited to see him. While I do not question the doctor’s medical skills, professionalism and compassion are equally important — and both were severely lacking. The consultation fee of ₹3500 per session is quite high, and one would expect a far better experience in return. This review is intended to help future patients make an informed decision. I truly hope no one else has to face what we did. I believe in karma, and I trust it will take its course.
