Star Health has two centers in Andheri, and as of May ’25, only this one accepts documents for reimbursement. There’s paid parking available, and documents are submitted directly at the reception. My experience submitting documents here was smooth, but unlike the other center, I did not receive any email acknowledgment after submission. While my claim was approved two weeks ago, the settlement is still pending; though I’m not sure if that’s an issue specific to this center.
You are causing yourself mental distress by purchasing Star Health insurance. The customer service is terrible. They do not return your call after leaving it on hold for hours. if they choose not to respond to a specific question. Even if you explain the same thing to over five different people, you will still not receive a response they will repeatedly transfer your call to another executive and disconnecting it without receiving a response. As a patient in urgent need of admission, I have been attempting to get in touch with them for the past three days for my claim. They do not even respond to your emails. I have had my policy for three years, and this is the first time I have filed a claim, and the experience was traumatic.

Very rude staff. I underwent an eye surgery couple of days back and had gone to file reimbursement claim. While i had not fully recovered, i had extremely carefully prepared the claim file with all docs inside. The executive at the reception and the security spoke to me as if i was a beggar. Just because one of the bills came loose from my file ,executive started using coarse language. The earlier reviews of the branch appear justified given the unpleasant experience.
