Ruchi Mam is very helpful.I had visited her when my baby was 4 week old. She guided me motivated me and corrected posture for baby latching. For new Moms breastfeeding journey is not so easy..but Little support and guidance goes a long way.
Good but wish Lactation consultants were a bit flexible on home visit only in rare cases. I visited her with low supply and latching issue with my 8 days old baby. I could barely walk post op but I still went. She nicely explained about latching and breastfeeding. Advised steps to increase supply. Gave full time to listen to my questions. Replied to me on WhatsApp when I was struggling with bottlefeeding. The only support all lactation consultants can consider including Dr. Ruchi is home visits in few post surgery cases when new mom is in pain and cannot visit the clinic. I was still unable to walk when my baby stopped latching and I requested for a home visit (20 mins distance). But she refused. It was just for one time mommies may request the LC for a home visit due to surgery. Currently my milk supply issue is still not resolved. But now baby is latching. Therefore I am still struggling to breastfeed baby. But all in all she is polite and listens to the issues
I visited Dr. Ruchi when my baby was a week old and I was having iasues in breastfeeding my baby.
