My friend had found The Clothing Rental since she was looking for some outfits to wear to a mehendi and wedding in Mumbai. I was originally just merely there to accompany her, but ended up having quite a bit of fun trying on different looks! The store has quite a few options, whether it’s traditional Indian dresses or western, and even for someone like me, who is a solid US medium, I was able to find options that fit me. After trying on a few looks, I ended up finding a really beautiful lehenga to wear to the wedding (instead of the one I brought from the US)! It was a three day rental, with a grace period drop off for the 4th day. There was a deposit required which I paid using PayPal, and it was returned to me very quickly once I returned the dress. My friend ended up finding two outfits and jewelry to rent, but I’ll let her share her own review and photos. Not sure if the prices were negotiable since there weren’t any price tags, but I ended up paying ~$186 for the lehenga.
Our experience was a bit different from the rest. We were at TCR at the last minute and they still managed to get us the dresses we want within a couple of hours. Abhi was a great help as well...
Had a great experience renting from The Clothing Rental! The outfits arrived right on time, fit perfectly, and looked beautiful. I rented three kurtas and got so many compliments on all of them :) Highly recommend!
