Akshara centre is a peaceful place to come to, whenever one needs to concentrate. The staff is very helpful. They have been financially assisting girls from marginalised communities to help with their education. Their advocacy and efforts have improved the lives of so many women.
A really good place to come and study as they have a library on the third floor.
The Akshara centre has been a been an incredible experience for me and many young students across Mumbai. We have learnt skills and gotten resources for so many important topics today and all of this in only the matter of a year. I hope others check it out and participate within its scope of to find out themselves just how much of a progressive journey this can be!!!
Akshara is not only a safe haven but also an amazing space to empower and inspire young girls. Their workshops, dedication to empower as many women as they can and heart-warming passion can be felt as soon as you step in the centre or sit in the library. Akshara is truly paving the way for the future we would love to see!
It is a very good platform for girls especially. Every session in this course is really interactive and interesting. There is lot more learnings other than rights for girls , you will get awareness of how women should be treated and how to raise voice for our rights
