I recently delivered here, and I had an amazing experience at the birth center! Simona was wonderful and I completely trusted her because she has so much experience delivering babies. The center itself is beautiful and clean, and feels like a nice hotel room. I liked how intimate it was- at the birth it was only my husband and I, Simona, and an extra nurse and assistant who were not very involved. The whole experience from prenatal visits (where I never had to wait for my appointment) to the birth was wonderful. Simona even came to my house to check on my progress at one point in early labor. My recovery from this water birth has also been so much easier than when I delivered my son in the hospital. I would definitely recommend the birth center to anyone planning for a natural birth.
It really didn't hit my wife and I until our last postnatal visit with Simona how amazing she and her staff(Evelyn, Addie, Stephanie) really are. Initially we were going to have our baby through our OBGYN and hospital but it only took a couple visits there to realize that we didn't feel comfortable with that process. Between all the unnecessary extra testing they wanted us to do and the fact you just feel like a number we wanted to try something else. Through a referral and some online research we found Simona. After the first visit with her we knew this is how we wanted to have our baby. Simona and her staff make you feel a part of their family. The entire process was handled perfectly. We just delivered our little baby boy Mars with Simona and her team. This was truly a remarkable experience that we'd recommend to anybody that's looking for a natural birth. The experience and confidence that Simona carries is second to none in the business. Being our first pregnancy the care and attention was important to us and the support we received before, during, and post birth was superb. Wow, where do I begin. First I'll start by saying I am a first time mommy and I was looking for perfect place for a perfect birth, which is what I got. I was first seeing a M.D. who I would sometimes wait 2 hours to see just for a check up. At the Natural Birth Center I never waited more than 30 min to be seen and that was only one time. Most of the time it was like a 10 min wait! The moment I met Simona I just knew that she was the midwife for me. Simona exudes confidence, love, compassion, serenity, strength and a true passion and knowledge for what she does. Never once was I doubtful about the safety of my pregnancy or labor. Simona's staff is absolutely amazing also. They're are so professional and nice! I don't have enough words to say about how pleased I am with how my birth turned out and the quality of the services I received. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a natural birth to check out Simona's birth center.
We will forever be grateful to Simona and her staff for the wonderful birth experience we had. My baby was welcomed in the most loving and calm environment. Simona is professional and very capable, there was never a doubt in my mind that I was being well taken care of. Prenatal visits were always great, never a long wait and very personal, Simona was there to answers all question and any concern I might've had.I looked forward to going to my visits and still miss going to the center now. The staff was always friendly and very loving. Simona was also a great advocator for Doulas and Hypnotherapy and they were both very very helpful. Simona was patient and very supportive throughout the whole labor I was allowed to walk and move in whatever way felt best for me, they allowed my body and baby to decide when the time was right. I loved the fact that i was not rushed to push and that they gave me space to go through my labor at my own pace.The setting was perfect and Simona was just great, so knowledgeable and experienced. I was always a little intimidated by the thought of giving birth but I knew it would be one of the most empowering experiences I could have. I thank Simona and her staff for being a big part of the support I needed to make it a reality. They made me feel comfortable and secure with our decision to go natural, the fact that she has access to the hospital located across was a great reassurance that if anything went wrong it was there and she would be there. I know she will be my Midwife again when we decide to make our family bigger. I would suggest her services to any family looking for a natural, drug-free birth in a wonderful, peaceful and loving environment with a great experienced midwife.
