The doctors are fine. But it would be great if they hired people with basic manners and the ones who don't take their frustration out on the patients or should I say the ones who just can't hide their natural bad behavior. The patients should feel safe and at ease with the staff. Most of the patients visiting there are to be mothers or people in a very sensitive spot. A patient shouldn't feel ashamed or sorry for being one. And the daughters, sons or husbands accompanying them also shouldn't feel more worse and worried than they already are. Maybe the staff there could use a lesson on 'Basic mannerisms' or 'how to interact with patients in a friendly way with out insulting them'. And just to be clear this review is not written by pregnant woman. I am in full control of my hormones. This is a well thought and truthful review and was ALSO NOT written in a rush or a fit of rage. I took my time and I hope this helps the ladies out there❤️. Ps: You should fire the girl in the purple scrubs who sits in the back😊.
In February 2025, we had to hospitalize my father at Dhanvantari Hospital, because it’s located within our society. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a regrettable decision. As an M.D. doctor myself, I was quite disappointed with the overall functioning of the hospital. Staff members were untrained and medical officers were either nonexistent or too incompetent to perform the most basic functions. No medical officer attended rounds during the night hours which is concerning. The nursing staff was unprofessional, uncooperative, and often unaware of whether medications were administered or not. Moreover, the attitude of Dr. Yogini was disheartening- if this is the way a senior medical professional treats fellow doctors, it's hard to expect better behavior from the rest of the staff. That said, I truly hope the hospital management takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their services. Note:- Dr. Harshal Joshi was the consulting physician, and he managed the case very well. I would definitely recommend him- but preferably at a different hospital.
My journey of delivering twins at Dhanvantari Hospital has been one of the most memorable and positive experiences of my life, all thanks to the incredible team there. From the moment I stepped in, I was treated not just as a patient but as someone truly cared for. Being pregnant with twins brings unique challenges, and it was overwhelming at times, but the unwavering support I received made all the difference. Dr. Yogine Firke is a phenomenal doctor. She not only brought expertise but also a sense of calm and encouragement that reassured me through every stage. Her attentive and personalized care made me feel like I was her top priority, and I’ll always be grateful for the dedication she showed throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The nursing staff were angels in disguise—each nurse treated me with such compassion, anticipating my needs and offering comfort during the tougher moments. Their patience and attentiveness truly made me feel at ease, even when I was navigating the unfamiliar territory of being a new mom to twins. Every member of the staff was gentle, respectful, and skilled, making the environment feel like a sanctuary of support. Even the hospital’s maushis deserve special recognition. They went above and beyond with their kindness, always greeting me with a smile and helping out whenever I needed it. Their warmth added a touch of home, and their small gestures of care often uplifted my spirits. I was admitted for ten days, and in that time, I witnessed first-hand the dedication of everyone at Dhanvantari Hospital. They made sure my stay was comfortable and that both my babies and I were thriving. Thanks to their exceptional care, my pregnancy, delivery, and recovery journey was smooth and beautiful. Dhanvantari Hospital and its team will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a truly compassionate and professional healthcare experience.
Rightly so the maternity hospital is called Dhanvantari, because in my experience Dr. Yogini Firake seems to be a blessing to all the pregnant women in Mumbai. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Yogini and each and everyone at Dhanvantari Maternity Hospital, Asalfa branch for being a part of my maternity journey and I recommend this place to whoever is reading my review. Please read on to know the reason behind my recommendation and gratitude. I started consulting Dr. Yogini when my third trimester had just begun in March 2024. I was traumatized by my earlier gynaecologist's rude behaviour and had lost faith in doctors of the megacity of Mumbai. I remember my first consultation with Dr. Yogini - her knowledge and way of sharing necessary details, her willingness to understand the case and give the correct suggestion, explaining the prescription and her overall presence was comforting to me and my family. Instant trust was formed with her and it only got stronger with every consultation, through the delivery, and it still is intact after three months of birth of my daughter. I can say Dr. Yogini re-instilled my faith in the medical professionals again. May god bless her with good health, safety and lots of energy because I have seen her work so hard, doing three deliveries in a day, managing close to 50-60 patients in her OPD all in a days time. Dr. Yogini has over 20 years of experience in the field and yet her humility, passion for each case and ethics of working is refreshing. It is inspiring and motivating too. She has the rare ability to make her patients feel seen, heard and safe. For a pregnant woman these feelings are extremely important in her prenatal journey of 9 months, the delivery and post partum. The rung of junior doctors, nurses, and ward ladies at Dhanvantari are absolutely complimenting Dr. Yogini's code of conduct. They all seem to know well what they're doing and are very considerate despite being so busy. I want to give a big shout out to Dr. Priyanka, she is amazing. Her observations in every consultation were bright. Right before I got into OT to deliver my daughter, she made sure I wasn't scared and spoke to me for a few minutes even after her shift was over and she had to travel very far. Me and my family feel that she is very bright and under the guidance of Dr Yogini has a long way to go in the field of medicine. Another big shout out to Roshni Sister. She helped me in understanding lactation post my C-section. It was not easy, but with the help of all the sisters at duties I was supported. Now the most important women at the maternity clinic are the ward ladies, the Maushis! All of them were so sweet to me and my family. They made me feel at home in the hospital! I stayed for 5 days and my family and me were provided the help and support by these amazing Maushis. A special mention for Subhadra Maushi, her conversations and smile made me feel better in the most painful times. The anesthesiologist and the pediatrician at Dhanvantari Maternity Hospital are experts in their field and add to the overall atmosphere of the place. Pregnancy, delivery and post partum are the most challenging times in a woman's life, if she gets a good medical support system this journey gets easier. I repeat, I am extremely thankful to each and everyone at Dhanvantari Maternity Hospital, Asalfa branch for being a part of my journey and I recommend this place to whoever is reading my review.
