Hamleys at Ambuja City Centre offers a wide range of kids’ toys, soft toys, books, and many engaging play items. The overall shopping experience is quite fabulous, and the store manager, “Waseem Qureshi”, was very helpful and guided me well throughout my visit. However, I did face a few issues. One staff member kept following me continuously, which made it difficult to explore the store freely. There were also some sample toys like the racing track, but only 2 cars and 4 remotes were kept there — and just one was actually working. I also found the pricing slightly high compared to online options, and some of the offer tags were confusing. For example, I picked up a remote-control car from a section where the board showed “₹999”, but at the counter, it turned out the actual price was ₹1500, and the ₹999 offer applied only if the total purchase exceeded ₹1200. Clearer deal tags and pricing would really help. Overall, it’s a good store with excellent variety and great support from the manager, but a few improvements in display, pricing clarity, and staff approach would enhance the experience even more.
Hamleys is hands down the best place for kids (and adults who are kids at heart!). The moment you walk in, the energy is incredible. The staff is super friendly, often doing live demonstrations of the coolest toys, which makes the whole shopping experience so interactive.
Came to store after 3 years, still felt the same warmth. Well behaved staff, nice service. My kid got an unexpected surprise- cakes and yes they all cheered her up and made our day!!!
