Extremely Disappointed with the Treatment and Experience I had a terrible experience with my underarm pigmentation treatment at this clinic, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking professional and transparent dermatological care. I initially visited for pigmentation concerns and was recommended a combination of peels, laser treatments, topical creams, and oral pills. I agreed to proceed based on the doctor’s advice. However, during my very first peeling session—done in the doctor’s absence—my skin got burned within seconds. The staff member performing the procedure brushed it off with a “no pain, no gain” comment. It took me a week to recover, and the doctor later attributed it to my “sensitive skin,” deciding to continue with only laser sessions instead. I prepaid for a 5+1 laser session package based on her reassurance that the pricing would remain the same, even though I wasn’t going ahead with the peels. Later, they informed me that the price would actually be more—something I had to contest until they admitted it was a misunderstanding. The laser sessions were extremely unstructured—no documentation of the machine, laser type, or settings used. Each session felt casual and unplanned. Over time, I noticed my pigmentation worsening. I got a blood test done on my own and shared the results, hoping it would help with diagnosis. The doctor claimed credit for suggesting it and blamed my thyroid levels, even though the test was never advised by her. During my last session, I informed them that I’d be moving cities and asked for documentation and photos of my treatment for future reference. I was shocked to hear that they wouldn’t share photos with me and would only provide treatment details to a doctor they recommend. I was also told to return in three weeks for another session—despite the lack of results and growing concerns—meaning more cost and commitment with no improvement. It’s incredibly disheartening to go through 6 months of pain, expense, and emotional distress without any results. The doctor personally handled only one out of six sessions, despite promising otherwise after the peeling burn incident. There was a complete lack of accountability and transparency throughout the process.
