Worst ever experince with HDFC life. They have vauge policy documents and no one will ever respond to queries once policy is sold - They will keep on deffering with excuses. False commitments and under delivery - That is the motto of HDFC life - Unfortunetely got stuck with them for a long term policy. Avoid them and specially avoid this office.
Went to surrender ULIP Policy but was informed they don't do that in this branch. They should then mention this on their website or remove it from a servicing branch list.
After a through research, I decided to go along with HDFC Life, as a good flexible plan was my main requirement. Got very bad reviews about their customer service on online forums and so was expecting the worse. But must say, it was not at all as bad as others say it was (maybe because I was prepared for it). Online premium payment is swift and hassle-free. Overall am satisfied with their services.
The term insurance Click2Protect plan was referred to me by my office colleague and it has turned out to be quite an effective plan in terms of the flexibility it offers. I wished the support staff could have been more supportive and proactive in addressing the customer queries. Overall a pretty decent experience with HDFC Life.
