The child development centre has very good facilities and a calm, positive environment. The staff is caring, patient, and understands children very well. We have seen clear and positive development in my daughter since she started coming here. Overall, it is a supportive and trustworthy place for children.
Sometimes, as parents, we put our complete trust in institutions that promise care, progress, and hope for our children. New Horizons was one such name I once believed stood for compassion. But after hearing and personally witnessing what happens behind those polished smiles and colorful walls I can’t stay silent anymore. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had several people I know visit their Bhandup branch, and just four days ago, their Mahim centre. The feedback I got was nothing short of heartbreaking. What was supposed to be a safe, nurturing place for children turned out to be a money-making machine disguised as therapy and care. Parents shared how staff members mock and make fun of parents behind their backs as if the struggles of raising a child with special needs were some sort of joke. The empathy that should define such a place is completely missing. All that seems to matter to them are their monthly targets. I even had one of my own patients call their centre, pretending to inquire for help. And what was the first thing they spoke about? Prices. Deposits. Booking fees. They asked for ₹1,000 just to book a slot no care, no guidance, no concern for the child. Just the sound of numbers being counted. And the worst part? When you call for anything other than payment, you’re met with silence. No answers, no follow-ups unless, of course, it’s about the money. Mr. Samir Dalwai, I’ve heard you’re a man who genuinely loves children. But it’s time you opened your eyes to what’s happening under your own roof. Because your staff the ones representing your name and vision seem to love only money, not the children or families who come seeking help. This isn’t a review written in anger. It’s written with deep disappointment and with the hope that one day, New Horizons truly becomes what it claims to be a place where kids can grow, not a place where parents are exploited.
